Lori grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, and left home after high school to attend St. Lawrence University. While at SLU, she played varsity ice hockey and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Lori graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science. After college, she moved to Boston where she was hired for her first insurance job as an assistant CSR. She gained valuable insurance knowledge and earned her license while working for two large commercial agencies in the Boston area.
Lori married her husband Kyle in 2002, and they relocated to Southern Maine where she continued working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager for local agencies.
Lori and her husband currently reside in York and have raised two amazing sons who are now in college and high school. In her free time Lori enjoys boating, downhill skiing, tennis and animals, especially horses!
